I really like my kitchen.

From what I can tell, I have a pretty nice amount of counter space (the 2 little spaces you see here are the extent of it) for Italian apartment kitchens.

I opened the cabinet all the way on the left so you could see my freezer (the small white rectangle). Our refrigerator is contained in the cabinet below. And, my pantry is the top shelf. 🙂

I am really posting this picture so you can see my absolute favorite feature of Italian kitchens: the drying rack above the sink (single-sided in my kitchen). It is SO nice. I can put all my dishes up there to dry after I wash them and then shut the cabinet—and the kitchen is clean (no piles of dishes drying on the counter).* 🙂

*I guess the alternative in America is a dishwasher. Shut the door, and the kitchen is clean. 😉
